If you are uncomfortable with heights, this property would be unsuitable.  Vagabond House is a home away from home.  It’s intended to be like a sanctuary for visitors working at nearby medical facilities or the Rocket Center.

The water serving the house is from a well that serves 60 houses. There is some residual lime in the water which is normal for well water. The water is excellent, but guests may also use the bottled water provided in the living room.

The nearby town of LaVale offers the community all that might be expected of a small city. Stores: Walmart, TJ Max, Tractor Supply, Aldis, Lowes, Martins, and many others. Restaurants: 6 or 7.

A friendly dog and a stray cat sometimes visit the house.  Neither are allowed in the house.

In the past 10 years, the property has been visited by groundhogs, deer, and a skunk or two.  Bears have been sighted twice. Bees are often near the house in warmer weather.

Overall, it’s a very comfortable place with a magnificent view.  It is within 10 miles to stores and many attractions.  The house was named after a poem called The Vagabond House by Don Blanding.
